Tour Dates: January 17–30, 2018
Give yourself time to arrive and depart in comfort. Burkat Global urges you to arrive a day or two early. Flights can be delayed and often arrive in the small hours of the morning. You certainly don’t want to arrive late and miss the beginning of the trip. So arrive a day or two beforehand, beat jet lag, see more of amazing Mumbai, shop, or just relax by the pool. If you wish, we can make additional reservations for you at the hotel and add special city or regional tours. We’ve included transfers when you arrive in Mumbai (as we have throughout your tour) to ease you into the hustle and bustle of Mumbai.
Mumbai and Cochin (Kochi in most airline schedules) offer numerous convenient name brand airline connections to and from North America, Europe, Middle East, and Israel as well as all over India. International airfare to India is a wonderful surprise: often even lower than from the US to Europe. Airline mileage programs also provide outstanding deals. India has a large, flexible air network and numerous modern airports. You can easily arrive in one city, and depart from another – our tour begins in Mumbai and ends in Delhi.
So before you book, think about your entire visit, including possible extensions.
Book international air travel on your own – we’ve had success purchasing tickets from makemytrip.com, or use any other source you prefer. United Airlines flies non-stop from the US to Mumbai and Delhi. Of course, you can use frequent flyer miles from the many, many American and foreign airlines that fly these routes.
Late January and early February in India offer the best weather, while fortuitously providing an escape from the North American winter. It’s warm but not oppressively hot. You’ll love swimming in your gloriously designed and situated hotel pools and in the Arabian Sea at that time of year.
